Jessica Burleson
Owner •Instructor •Master Nail Artist
Jessica’s first love was found in art. She went on to receive a Bachelors in Fine Art with a concentration in Painting from the University of Tennessee. Upon graduation she found herself in need of a creative career and completed an apprenticeship, too become a licensed Nail Technician. Recognizing she wanted to empower others to find success while providing services that had medical grade sanitation, quality vegan organic products and hand painted nail artistry. In 2014 she set out to make her own safe space & opened Topcoat Nail Bar. During this process she realized that she had a knack for (and new found love) of sharing her success with others. This new love inspired her to get an Instructors License so that she may help others learn the in’s and out’s of beautiful nail services as well as the business side of the industry. Her roll as an educator in the industry has continued with monthly classes held at Topcoat Nail Bar as well as local media appearances. All the while staying true to her roots, Jessica never strayed far from creating. You can check out her artistry here or stop by Topcoat and see a few in person.

If you know me, you know I am all about the balance between athlete meets boujee queen! I played division 1 college softball and loved getting dolled up on game day. Being a female athlete can come with sooo many different stigmas and I worked so hard to break the mold and make my own style! The best way for me to express myself and still be able to ball out was having some killer nails, fun eyeshadow, and the coolest bow. My momma always taught me to make sure your nails, toes and eyebrows are on point at all times. So here I am, pursuing my passion for nails and the love for empowering other individuals. I love meeting new people so come on in and be my new best friend!

I am everything boujee and love spilling the tea. I specialize in nail embellishments and long nails, love getting creative on nail designs. Come sit with me and let’s get you feeling beautiful!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have absolutely LOVED anything beauty related. I have always been the friend to do everyone’s hair, makeup and nails.
I also have an art background and for the longest time, I didn’t know what creative outlet I was missing in my life. After pursuing makeup artistry, I realized that it just didn’t give me that outlet I was hoping for. Fast forward a couple years and a dead end management position, it wasn’t until my nail tech at the time told me to take the leap of faith ‘because fear will always be there and life is too short to not being doing anything other than what truly make you happy.’

I’ve been doing nails for a couple of years now, and I absolutely love it! Nail art is my favorite and I love learning new techniques. I am all about the long claws, but that doesn’t mean I don’t welcome you natural length babes in my chair. My goal is to always make you feel comfortable during our time together and leave feeling even more confident about yourself at the end!

I’ve always been a very creative and artistic person, and there’s nothing I love more than sharing that passion and talent with others! I graduated cosmetology school in 2018, and nails have always been a lifelong passion for me. In my free time, I love pursuing art and other creative projects. So with that being said, nail art and fun designs are my absolute favorite to do! My goal is to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable in my chair, plus make you feel like an absolute babe with whatever kind of nails you choose! I’m looking forward to seeing you in my chair!

Hey, y’all! If you know me, you know I always have a fresh set of nails. I pretty much can’t function without them! I’ve always had a passion for art and creativity but never knew exactly how to implement that into my career path. After quarantine and doing my own nails, I realized this would be the perfect field for me! I’m super picky, detail oriented and love people. I can’t wait to learn, grow and perfect my craft with topcoat! Hope to see y’all soon.

Hi! I’m Chasey, I graduated from cameo college of essential beauty in May! I’m 18, and I love everything beauty! I started doing nails on myself about 3 years ago, and ever since then I’ve wanted to do nails for other people. I went to school and now I have the opportunity to work at Topcoat, and I’m so excited!

Ever since I was little I have been very drawn to all forms of creativity. Throughout my life I’ve explored different outlets of art. I have a passion for makeup and fashion design, and love playing around with them to express myself. Nails have come as an extension of this, and trying out new trends and creating designs is really fun for me. I’m all about the fine details and precision work that goes into painting on a small canvas.
I’m constantly challenging myself with new ideas and techniques for my own nails. You’ll see me channeling a new vibe every week, whether it’s hot pink y2k Barbie or goth witch nails!
There are very few art forms that allow you to connect with other people like doing nails does. I love to hear other peoples stories or really just talk about anything lol.
I would love to create a beautiful and unique set of nails for you!

I have always been inspired by art and connections with people! I have been teaching dance since 2012 and cherish the friendships and bonds I make along that path. Feeling confident and getting my nails done always makes me feel pampered and is a way to express myself. I have always found nail art fascinating. I have tried doing my own nails at home and realized how fun it is. I'm excited to jump into something new, learn techniques, and combine art and connection in a new way, all while making others feel confident at the same time! I can't wait to learn and grow a new craft with best!

I started my nail journey years ago, but I had to take a detour, because life happens. Now thanks to my family’s support and encouragement, I’m back on track!
I love to learn new techniques and ways to improve my self. Little details make me happy and I believe nails are part of it! They can make you feel good no matter what you are going through and I like to share that joy with everyone!
